If you see copyrighted material on usenet, you should contact the owners of the copyrighted material to contact us directly.
As per the DMCA:
http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf
the owners of the material should contact us directly to swear that they are the true owners and did not authorise the distribution of the said material. The message should include the offending Message IDs of the articles.
